Its music festival season again, and if youre an addict like us then its time to ditch those fiddly little lanyards so you can have all of your stage times in one place and updated throughout each festival.WHAT IS GIGTIMES?
Gigtimes is a live music app that sends the stage times for music festivals straight to your smartphone. During the festival you’ll then be notified of any late changes to the timings, ensuring you’ll never miss any of your favourite acts again. All of the stage times are accessible offline after you first open them, so there’s no need to worry about your phone’s dodgy 3G either.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We work directly with music festival organisers who use Gigtimes as a way of getting all of the festival stage times straight to you punters. And we all know how often stage times change during the event - which is why the same organisers will use Gigtimes to send you push notifications whenever there are any changes to the timings that you need to know about.
HOW DO I USE GIGTIMES?
Gigtimes is easy to use. Firstly, search through our database of upcoming music festivals. Once you’ve found the ones that you’re attending, hit the button next to each one to add them to your dashboard. Then you’ll receive a push notification containing all of the stage times for your festivals as soon as they’re available.
HOW DO I KNOW THE TIMES WILL BE ACCURATE?
Whilst stage times are always liable to change at short notice, we work directly with music festival organisers to make sure all of the stage times you see are 100% accurate at the time they’re posted. And if there are any late changes to the times, the organisers will let you know themselves by sending you a push notification via Gigtimes.
WILL YOU BE ADDING MORE FESTIVALS TO THE APP?
That’s certainly the plan! We’re looking to deliver the Gigtimes for as many festivals as possible, so give it a download and well keep you updated whenever we add more to the app. We have plenty more planned in for 2016, so watch this space.
